#1 is a good thing to always keep in mind. In fact, I recommend writing it on a sticky note and posting it somewhere where you can see it everyday!

Prom is an exciting event to look forward to if you’re in high school. You’re wondering if that cutie in English class might ask you to go with him. If you already have that special someone in your life, you’re giddy about finally going on a dress up date with him. Since prom is coming up soon, and I do have young high school women who read this blog, I thought I’d share my experience with prom and perhaps offer a little food for thought and inspiration.
Happiness is having love for others, but most of all, having love for yourself. Having love for who YOU are will bring about joy.
Love EVERYTHING about yourself. Love the “flaws” and love the strengths. Love the nerdy part of you. Love the funny, weird part of you.
When you have love for yourself, it emanates from the inside and radiates out into the world. Your light shines brighter. It’s a light that is electric and magnetic.
Start the Love Fest for yourself today by simply telling yourself the three magic words: “I love you!” Say it and mean it. It won’t be long until you feel those good vibrations of happiness flowing through your body…
